In February 2023, the community of Stillwater voted overwhelmingly in support of a $195,000,000 bond issue. The 2023 Bond Issue consisted of two propositions -- Proposition I for $190,000,000 to be used to support the bulk of a number of projects, while Proposition II called for $5,000,000 to provide funds for transportation equipment.
Key projects planned included a new high school to be constructed north of Pioneer Stadium, expansions to and improvements of athletic facilities, maintenance at all sites, academic technology & materials, extracurricular activity equipment, uniforms, musical instruments, buses, and vehicles.

Stillwater High School - Athletic Spaces (Pending)
Following the completion of the new SHS academic building, the next part of campus improvements, which are also covered by the most recent bond, will begin and focus on changes to existing structures to improve and expand extracurricular facilities. While specifics are still being finalized, anticipated projects include:
- Locker room spaces
- New indoor and outdoor practice spaces for use by athletic teams, physical education classes, and the Pioneer Marching Band
- More specifics yet to be determined
These projects also lay the groundwork for long-range plans that include future facilities to be supported by future bonds for baseball, softball, and tennis facilities, bringing nearly all high school programs together on a single campus.
