What if I accidentally enrolled my child for the wrong school year?
OLR registrations can't be moved from year to year. Each year has a unique set of questions/text because enrollment data requirements and state/federal guidelines change. Parents/guardians will have to re-enroll in the proper year.

How do I enroll in PreK for 2025-2026?
2024-2025 enrollment will begin on March 25, 2025.
To enroll in Pre-K for 2025-2026, your child must be 4 years old by September 1, 2025.
Copies of the following documents will need to be provided during enrollment:

Proof of Stillwater residence (i.e. lease/mortgage statement or current utility bill)

State-certified birth certificate or passport

In accordance with Title 70 Oklahoma School Immunization Law 1210.191. for school enrollment, a parent or guardian shall provide one of the following:

Current, up-to-date immunization records; or
-
A completed and signed exemption form.

How do I know which elementary school my child will attend?
You can look up your address and resident elementary school on our elementary districting map.

Is my child required to attend Kindergarten?
Yes, Kindergarten is required by state law.

Will my child be provided bus transportation if enrolled in Pre-K or Kindergarten?
Transportation is not provided for Pre-K students.
KG students will be provided bus transportation if they live more than 1.5 miles from their school site.

Are there any tests required for my child to enroll in Pre-K or Kindergarten?
No. However, there are age requirements set by the State of Oklahoma. To be eligible for Pre-K, your child must be 4 years old by September 1 of the upcoming school year. To be eligible for Kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old by September 1 of the upcoming school year. There are no exceptions for early entry into Pre-K or Kindergarten.

Are there any requirements for enrolling my child from another country?
It is helpful if you can have your child's birth certificate and immunization records translated to English.
